May 22-23-24-25 2020 AKC Agility Trial

***EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19***

Dear TRACS Members,

As difficult as this decision has been, and as much as we would all love to see our event happen, the TRACS Board and Trial Committee have been listening to the experts continue to emphasize the criticality of staying apart in order to fight this pandemic. So, it has become clear that, although we are succeeding in flattening the curve, we are being told by local health care experts that the peak for our area is now predicted to be around Jun 1.

Even if the government releases us from the Shelter in Place orders on May 1, the reality of life is that we will most likely still need to avoid large gatherings for the foreseeable future.

Given all of this, TRACS has decided the best course of action is to cancel this year’s Memorial Day AKC trials.

All entries received will be cancelled and all checks shredded. I will send each exhibitor a confirmation when I shred your entry.

On a brighter note: We are going to go forward with a virtual Parade of Agility Veterans. Our Special Event Coordinator, Penny Larson, is accepting entries for this very special Parade.  She asks that when you send your written entry, you send her 4 of your favorite photos (no video, please), plus one head shot/portrait.  Our plan is to use these photos to create a very special slide show of all of our 2020 PoV entrants.

We hope that life will be back to normal and that we will see everyone at our Sep USDAA trial or our Dec AKC trial.
